Hallo. Nice to meet you.

I’m Sarah Punshon. I love stories, ideas and performance.

I make theatre, live events and television drama.

The best place to start exploring my work is latest news.

I’ve directed new writing, contemporary classics and Shakespeare for theatre, film and television (single and multi-camera drama).  I’ve developed scripts for all kinds of formats.  My work has been described as “enchanting” and “hugely impressive”.

Take a look at reviews and photos of previous theatre work here, or watch my showreel for a glimpse of my TV directing.

I was a 2010/11 Clore Leadership Fellow, then spent a year as guest curator at the Natural History Museum, experimenting with participative arts projects for visitors.

I’ve a passion for public engagement with big issues and stories - whether it’s scientific research or social history.

If you’re interested in live programming for museums and heritage sites, you might want to start here.

Thanks for visiting.
